Though many monitors today are very versatile, being able to twist, pivot, and tilt, most other monitors totally fail the ergonomics test with their weak and rigid stands. This is where monitor stands, also called monitor mounts, come into play.
Monitor stands allow for a wider range of movement than any individual gaming monitor can imagine and also cuts down costs significantly. A monitor with a versatile stand will easily cost you 50-60 dollars more than a similar monitor with a standard tilt-only stand. In a triple monitor setup, you can pay in excess of 200 dollars for better native stands. However, an affordable triple monitor mount only costs only a third of that. There are obviously much more expensive 3 monitor stands, but those offer higher build quality and extra features.
It’s pretty clear that monitors stands are the way to go if you want an ergonomic multiple monitor setup. A setup using a monitor arm is cheaper and easier to use.
Here on Pandatechie, our team of editors have put together a list of the six best triple monitor stands on the market today. We have included both budget and premium monitor arms as well as free standing and table-mounted stands. Different types of monitor mounts/stands have different sections dedicated completely to them.
Lets get to our picks for the top triple monitor stands available today!

Our Picks for the Best Triple Monitor Stands
There are two main types of monitor stands: freestanding monitor stands and desk-mounted monitor stands. Both have their advantages and disadvantages that we will discuss later. Part one of this list consists of three freestanding monitors stands. Part two consists of three desk-mounted monitor arms.
Type: Freestanding triple monitor mount | Screen Size: up to 27″ (False advertising) | Weight Limit: 17.6 lb./monitor | Tilt: -45° to +45° | Swivel: 90° | Rotate: 360° | VESA Compatibility: VESA 75, 100
- Great movement range
- Sturdy construction
- Doesn’t actually hold 27″ monitors
- Not a premium stand
The KRIËGER KL3327B Triple Monitor Stand tops our list for 3 monitor mounts not because it is the priciest or most high quality monitor stand we’ve reviewed, but because it offers a huge range of features and compatibility for a comparatively low price. It is one of only two monitor arms on this list that is advertised to hold 27″ monitors on its mounts and has by far the largest tilt range of any stand we’ve seen.
First, we have to say that the stand does not actually hold 27″ monitors, but 24″ monitors are still fine. This is a bit of false information, but we will still give this stand a chance.
The KRIËGER KL3327B has VESA holes on each of each three mounts that can accommodate 75mm or 100mm mounts – no complaints here. The attachments are study and as long as your monitor for gaming doesn’t pass the weight limit of 17.6 pounds, nothing will happen.
The arms of this stand are pretty stiff and rigid out of the box. Opinions vary on whether this is good or bad, but it certainly allows your monitor to stay in their positions without having to adjust them back every day.
The stand allows for up and down movements, tilts from -45° to +45° degrees, a swivel range of 90° degrees, and a rotation radius of 360° degree. This is actually quite good. According to paper stats, this stand is one of the most versatile on the market right now.
If you’re looking to buy a nice and cheap triple monitor stand that is still sturdy, try out the KRIËGER KL3327B. We recommend it. For a much quality freestanding triple stand, look at the two we have below. You’ll have to pay more, but if you’re serious about what you’re doing, its worth every penny.
Type: Freestanding triple monitor mount | Screen Size: up to 24″ | Weight Limit: 25 lb./monitor | Tilt: -25° to +25° | Swivel: 90° | Rotate: 360° | VESA Compatibility: VESA 75, 100
- Extremely well designed
- Low profile base
- Excellent overall
- Can mount 27″ Monitors
The Ergotech Triple Stand is probably the best monitor stand on this list in terms of pure functionality and quality. The price is high, but the stand is truly top-of-the-line. Ergotech is also know for its gaming products, they even have a 4-display arm available.
Unlike the KRIËGER KL3327B, the Ergotech Triple Stand is advertised to only mount 24″ monitors, but 27″ monitors also work. 27″ monitors aren’t the best fit, but they still can go on this stand.
The Ergotech Triple Stand has 75mm and 100mm VESA holes that will fit any VESA companionable monitor.
The monitor stand is extremely tough and well built – maybe even going a bit overkill. The arms are super thick and strong and the stand weighs in at almost 30 pounds. It can also carry up to 25 pounds on each of its three arms, totaling up to a whopping 75 pounds for the entire stand. A lot of low end stands will tilt and even flip over at extreme configurations, but we’re confident that this Ergotech stand isn’t going anywhere. The base of the stand is large and wide, but it’s low profile means that it probably won’t obstruct anything.
The adjustability of this triple monitor stand is slightly low, but it shouldn’t be much of a problem. The stand pivots from -10° to +20°, swivels 90°, and tilts +/- 25°.
The Ergotech Triple Stand is one of the best triple monitor mounts available right now, throw in a premium gaming router you are set for a good enthusiast gaming experience. If you’re willing to pay the hefty price tag, you should go for it.
Type: Freestanding triple monitor mount | Screen Size: up to 24″ | Weight Limit: 13.2 lb./monitor | Tilt: -30° to 30° | Swivel: 90° | Rotate: 360° | VESA Compatibility: VESA 50, 75, 100
- Compatible with 50mm VESA
- Sturdy build
- A bit on the expensive side
This monitor arm can mount three monitors up to 24″. The maximum weight is a little low, at 13.2 pounds per monitor, the lowest on this list. This is a low point, but most monitors don’t weight even ten pounds.
The Elitech Triple Stand actually has expanded VESA compatibility. In addition of 75mm and 100mm VESA holes, the stand also features 50mm VESA holes. Though most users won’t ever have any use again, it is still a plus.
Adjustability wise, the stand is decent, being able to tilt +/- 30° and rotate the monitors 260°. The arms can extent to almost 50″.
Build quality is good in general, but slightly underwhelming for a triple monitor stand that is still on the high end of the price spectrum. The stand is almost entirely made of a metal alloy, though, so you don’t have to worry that it’s a cheap black plastic.
The Elitech Triple Stand isn’t our most recommended free standing monitor stand because it is not a huge improvement over cheaper stands like the KRIËGER KL3327B. However, if you want a decent triple monitor stand that is not super costly, the Elitech Triple Stand is a decent choice.
Part II – Desk-Mounted Triple Monitor Stands
Table mounted monitor stands allow for greater stability since they are attached to the desk and are usually more affordable, but they also have downsides. They take longer to set up and the clamp could damage your table if it is even compatible. Setting up these stands is also slightly easier. Check out our guide on getting a good gaming desk if you want to pair these two together.
Here are our top three picks for table-mounted triple monitor stands
Type: Desk-mounted triple monitor mount | Screen Size: up to 24″ | Weight Limit: 16 lb./monitor | Tilt: -30° to 30° | Swivel: 90° | Rotate: 360° | VESA Compatibility: VESA 75, 100
- Budget friendly
- Reliability issues over time
The Mount-It! MI-753 is a slightly more affordable alternative to the Sewell Triple Monitor Mount. The price decrease comes at a sacrifice of functionality and durability, but if you really want to minimize expenses the MI-753 is a fine stand.
The MI-753 holds up to three 24 inch monitors on its three arms with a maximum weight limit of 22 pounds per monitor, or 66 pounds in total. 66 pounds is impressive, but we are slightly skeptical of this claim as the construction doesn’t look like the toughest. The main problem of this mount is that it can sag over time under the weight of three monitors, compromising its structural integrity and leading to uneven monitors.
The stand has standard VESA compatibility – 75mm and 100mm holes on each arm. This will work for 99% of monitors. The monitor is mounted onto your desk with a C-clamp with a double-lock mechanism for added safety.
Adjustability wise, the MI-753 is average, with tilt angles of -15° to 15°, arm movements at three joins, and 360° for each of the three mounts.
Type: Desk-mounted triple monitor mount | Screen Size: up to 27″ | Weight Limit: 22 lb./monitor | Tilt: -15° to 15° | Swivel: 360° | Rotate: 360° | VESA Compatibility: VESA 75, 100
Thin bezel monitors are best choice for a multi-monitor setup on monitor mounts. Slim bezels allow for more seamless transitions between one monitor and another. If you are looking for more cheaper options for a monitor and aren’t too picky, a good portable monitor can work for you as well.
